Agreement between The University of Milan and University of Toulouse 1 Capitole (France)

The agreement (lasting 5 years from the academic year 2012/2013) establishes an Italian-French double degree.


Law students of the University of Milan will be admitted to the programme on condition that they have passed all the exams of the first three years. Then they will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained, the motivation and the knowledge of French. Admitted students will attend the fourth year and the first semester of the fifth at the University of Toulouse and will end their studies, on the second semester of the fifth year, at the University of Milan. The thesis will be written in at least one of the two languages and will be supervised by a professor of Milan and one of Toulouse. The final exam will be held in Italian in the presence of a professor of the University of Toulouse.

French students will be admitted to the programme providing that they have passed all the exams of the first two years. Then they will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained, the motivation and the knowledge of Italian. Admitted students will attend the third year and the first semester of the fifth at the University of Milan and will end their studies, on the second semester of the fifth year, at the University of Toulouse. The thesis will be written in at least one of the two languages and will be supervised by a professor of Toulouse and one of Milan. The final exam will be held in French in the presence of a professor of the University of Milan.

Exchange students will pay tuition fees only at their home institution.

According to the agreement the first students (five) of the University of Milan will be sent to the University of Toulouse from the academic year 2015/2016. French students (five) will attend the courses at the University of Milan from the academic year 2014/2015.
